LGBTQ+ Inclusion
Latest data from the Office of National Statistics suggest that around 3% of the UK population identifies as lesbian, gay or bisexual (though this is likely to be an under-representation), while between 15 -20% of the population is neurodivergent in some way.
Maia has built a great community for people who identify as LGBTQ+ and trained staff and soulmates in how to be inclusive using language and behaviour to ensure that everyone feels respected and included.
She is also helping us towards our goal of achieving the Rainbow Flag Award! The award focuses on positive LGBT+, (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, plus other related identities), inclusion and visibility 🙂

Online meet-ups
Zoom socials – Huggle, Film Club, Quiet meet, new members, creative writing, Dhiverse workshops LGBTQ+, Neorodivergent Chat and Route to Work.
The friendships built, acceptance and inclusion adopted, work skills developed, films discussed, silent companionship enjoyed, a really wonderful Safe Soulmates zoom world.
